Discount Wheel & Tire is looking for an experienced, motivated Store Manager to lead our Waipahu location.
We are looking for a hands-on manager who understands that strong store performance comes from customer service, sales, employee leadership, expense control, and accountability. This is not a desk-only management position. The Store Manager is expected to be actively involved with customers, employees, daily sales, and overall store operations.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives tied to store results, sales, gross profit, and overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all daily operations of the Waipahu store
- Lead, coach, schedule, and hold employees accountable
- Drive tire, wheel, alignment, road hazard, and automotive service sales
- Ensure every customer is greeted and receives excellent service
- Train the sales team to identify opportunities and professionally upsell
- Review daily sales, gross profit, expenses, and store performance
- Work toward monthly sales and profitability goals
- Control payroll, overtime, discounts, and operating expenses
- Ensure proper vehicle inspections are completed
- Make sure incoming calls are answered and customers are scheduled promptly
- Follow up with missed appointments, estimates, and open opportunities
- Maintain accurate inventory and ensure orders are properly received and closed
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and quickly
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and productive store
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain strong employees
- Work closely with the Area Manager and ownership to improve store performance
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate has automotive, tire, wheel, dealership, or related retail management experience and has previously been responsible for a store's sales and profitability.
We are looking for someone who:

- Understands gross profit, labor costs, payroll, and store profitability
- Can coach employees and hold a team accountable
- Is comfortable working with sales and performance goals
- Can handle a fast-paced, high-volume environment

- Has strong communication and organizational skills
- Is dependable and consistent
Tire and wheel industry experience is strongly preferred.
