Store Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our retail store team in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, managing inventory, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Duties

• Manage store operations, including stock, inventory, and cash handling
• Oversee customer service and sales, ensuring that customers have an exceptional shopping experience
• Supervise and train a team of sales associates, managers, and other store staff
• Plan and implement sales promotions and in-store events to drive sales growth
• Conduct regular inventory counts, manage stock, and maintain a clean and organized store
• Manage payroll, scheduling, and staffing needs
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and seamless operations
• Manage the store's budget, ensuring that expenses are within budget and that the store is profitable
• Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to customer service, teamwork, and excellence

Requirements

• Proven experience in store management, preferably in a retail setting
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in stock management and inventory control
• Experience with payroll and scheduling software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of retail best practices and current trends
• A strong understanding of math and the ability to perform basic calculations
