Summary
The Store Manager will lead the New York Saks concession boutique, driving business growth, elevating client engagement, and delivering exceptional luxury experiences. This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to partner with department store stakeholders to ensure brand standards and sales targets are met. The manager will develop and coach the team while overseeing operations, visual merchandising, and CRM initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the concession team to achieve sales targets and deliver couture-level client service.
- Act as liaison with department store leadership and build relationships with the store stylist network to drive revenue.
- Analyze KPIs, create action plans, and report weekly sales trends to the Valentino leadership team.
- Own recruiting, talent development, staffing, and performance management in partnership with HR.
- Manage CRM, clienteling, events, and client database to recruit, retain, and upgrade clients.
- Oversee store operations including inventory, cash handling, audits, and end-of-season returns and transfers.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are executed and collaborate with regional/head office VM teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in store management or a leadership role.
- Luxury department store or concession experience preferred.
- Proven track record achieving sales results and developing teams.
- Strong business acumen, KPI understanding, and commercial planning skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship skills.
- Proficient in store sales and operations systems and CRM tools.
