Role Description
The Store Manager role is a full-time, on-site position located in Orlando, FL. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, including staffing, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role manages product merchandising, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention efforts to maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment. The Store Manager leads and coaches store associates, sets sales goals, monitors performance, and provides ongoing training to drive customer engagement and revenue. The role also focuses on delivering high levels of customer service, resolving customer concerns, and using store-level data to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on creating positive in-store experiences.
- Store Management and retail operations skills, including supervising staff, managing schedules, and overseeing daily activities.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, coaching team members, and collaborating with district and corporate partners.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to reduce shrink, ensure proper handling of cash and inventory, and maintain a safe store environment.
- Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles, preferably in gaming, consumer electronics, or specialty retail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications; comfort with learning new technologies and tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or related fields is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, meet sales targets, and maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity.
