Role Description


The Store Manager role is a full-time, on-site position located in Oakville, MO. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and maintaining visual merchandising standards aligned with company guidelines. This role leads, coaches, and schedules team members to deliver excellent customer service, achieve sales goals, and ensure a positive, inclusive shopping environment. The Store Manager monitors performance metrics, implements promotional activities, addresses customer inquiries or concerns, and ensures adherence to company policies and operational best practices. The role also includes hiring support, training, and ongoing development of store staff to foster engagement and retention.


Qualifications



  • Strong retail leadership and people management skills, including team coaching, performance feedback, and staffing oversight.

  • Proficiency in store operations, such as cash handling, inventory control, loss prevention, and adherence to company policies.

  • Customer service and sales skills, with the ability to build relationships, resolve concerns, and drive revenue and customer loyalty.

  • Basic business and analytical skills, including reading sales reports, setting goals, and making data-informed decisions.

  • Ability to maintain merchandising and presentation standards, ensuring a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse team members and customers.

  • Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications for scheduling, reporting, and communication.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail management experience or fashion retail background is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to stand, move, and lift merchandise as needed.
