Role Description

The Store Manager role at CosmoProf Beauty in Madison, WI is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing daily store operations. This includes leading and coaching the store team, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance to meet or exceed targets. The Store Manager manages inventory, merchandising standards, and retail loss prevention procedures to maintain an organized and secure environment. The role also involves scheduling, training, and performance feedback for team members, as well as maintaining store compliance with company policies and operational guidelines. Store Managers collaborate with district and regional leadership to execute promotional initiatives and support the overall growth of the business.

Qualifications

• Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to create a welcoming, professional in-store experience.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, coaching team members, and collaborating with leadership.
• Experience in Store Management, including day-to-day operations, staffing, scheduling, and performance oversight.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including monitoring shrink, implementing security procedures, and maintaining compliance.
• Previous retail or beauty industry experience; supervisory or management experience in a customer-facing environment is preferred.
• Ability to lead by example, motivate a diverse team, and work in a fast-paced, results-driven setting.
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems, inventory tools, and standard office software.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or a related field is beneficial.
