Operations Responsibilities
- Demonstrates high standards in customer service
- Meets financial metrics including service revenue, average ticket, client count, rebooking and product sales
- Identifies opportunities for growth such as staffing, scheduling and coaching
- Responsible for the management of all personnel including recruitment, training, product knowledge, loss prevention, performance management, safety and legal compliance
- Conducts regular performance reviews and provides constructive feedback to enhance team performance
- Creates and maintains staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Responsible for store inventory
- Helps forecast sales, growth trajectories and expansion plans
Financial Management
- Collaborates with the store owner to develop and manage the salon budget
- Monitors and analyzes financial reports, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
- Implements strategies to achieve sales targets and profitability goals
Customer Service
- Oversees the delivery of high-quality services and ensures client satisfaction
- Addresses client issues and concerns, providing timely and professional resolutions
- Maintains a positive and welcoming environment for clients and staff
Training and Servicing
- Performs services on guests and leads by example
- Leads through teaching employees, growing their productivity, and providing coaching and mentoring to achieve individual, team and personal goals
- Identifies the professional development needed for each staff member
- Ensures all technical service and product trainings are attended
- Conducts verbal and technical interviews, identifying appropriate talents needed for salon growth
Marketing
- Works with the owner to develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Coordinates and promotes special events, promotions, and collaborations to increase salon visibility
- Assists with social media as needed
Job Types: Part‑Time to Full‑time
Availability: Nights and Weekends are required
License: Esthetics License is preferred
Experience: 2–3+ years of Salon Manager experience is preferred
