Role Overview:
Responsible for managing store operations, staff, and processes to ensure effective and efficient store performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees; ensure proper staffing and compliance with labor laws.
- Provide leadership in customer service, safety, security, and store presentation.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, stocking, and merchandise presentation.
- Analyze financial reports to identify sales trends, control expenses, and reduce shrinkage.
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety standards, and equipment readiness.
- Ensure cash handling accuracy and adherence to security procedures.
- Complete necessary documentation and uphold company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, cash handling, and safety procedures.
- Ability to interpret operational documents and perform basic math.
- Preferred high school diploma; management experience in retail is advantageous.
- Effective interpersonal skills; bilingual abilities may be preferred for some locations.
Physical & Work Environment
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, and operating equipment in a fast-paced, moderate noise environment. Occasional outdoor exposure and travel for store-related tasks.
