Role Description

The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX, responsible for leading day-to-day store operations and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This position oversees staff scheduling, performance, and training, ensuring team members provide personalized service throughout the custom hat design process. The Store Manager monitors sales goals, merchandising standards, and inventory levels, while maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment. The role includes managing cash handling procedures, implementing retail loss prevention practices, and resolving customer concerns in a timely, professional manner. The Store Manager collaborates with leadership to support local marketing initiatives, uphold brand standards, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to create memorable in-store experiences.
• Effective Communication skills to lead teams, provide clear direction, and interact confidently with guests and partners.
• Hands-on Store Management experience, including supervising staff, overseeing daily operations, and driving sales performance.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, inventory control, and cash handling procedures.
• Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or experiential environments; hat or fashion retail experience is a plus.
• Proven leadership abilities, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfort with basic technology and point-of-sale systems; familiarity with social media and brand engagement is beneficial.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or related fields is an asset.
