Responsibilities
As a Store Manager you’ll set the store vision and direction and act as a role model for your store team. You will drive continuous improvement, maintain a forward‑thinking approach to deliver strategic goals in store, and maximize sales while maintaining store standards. You will inspire the team to exceed customer expectations and achieve Primark’s proposition of maximizing joy and minimizing cost.
You will manage inventory, coach teams to move product in accordance with customer demand, and drive commercial excellence. Understanding local market dynamics, you will benchmark against competitors and use insights to support strategic planning to improve store performance. You will be the driver of commercial performance, achieving sales budgets and maximizing sales within each department with available tools to exceed targets.
You will develop your team to build optimal stock levels, maximize visual impact, and own the resource planning and scheduling process to deliver the right people at the right time within agreed budgets while managing controllable costs.

The pay range for this role is: $111,280–$131,040.
Pay Guidelines
- For promotional opportunities: 10% additional responsibility allowance for the duration of the interim assignment.
- For lateral opportunities: no change to existing pay rate.
Qualifications
- You have at least 5 years prior experience as a retail store manager in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- You have excellent leadership and people management skills with experience developing high‑performing teams and future leaders.
- You are commercially astute and can analyze reports to guide teams to improve commercial performance.
- You are able to engage stakeholders, motivate, and inspire a confident and enthusiastic team.
- You have strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to work to agreed timescales.
- You can communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing, and provide instruction, coaching, corrective action, safety instructions and lead teams on a daily basis and in emergencies. You also provide excellent customer service in English and monitor performance of English‑speaking colleagues who need to communicate with customers.
