Role Overview
Responsible for managing store employees and overseeing all store operations, including staffing, training, inventory, merchandising, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified staff while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Manage store opening and closing procedures, staffing levels, and safety standards.
- Analyze financial statements to identify sales trends, control expenses, and minimize shrinkage.
- Order inventory to meet or exceed stock targets, oversee merchandise presentation, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Ensure cash handling accuracy, security, and adherence to cash control procedures.
- Lead customer service initiatives and maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
- Follow company policies, complete documentation, and manage store tools and equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to interpret operational documents and perform mathematical calculations.
- Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in retail management preferred; high school diploma or equivalent recommended.
- Bilingual skills may be advantageous.
Physical & Working Conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
- Use of various equipment and occasional outdoor exposure.
- Fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
