Role Overview: Responsible for managing store operations, staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to ensure effective execution of store processes such as ordering, stocking, merchandising, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, select, train, and retain qualified employees in compliance with laws and policies.
- Conduct performance reviews, address gaps, and manage employee advancement and pay.
- Ensure proper store staffing, opening, and closing procedures.
- Analyze operating statements to identify business trends, control expenses, and prevent shrinkage.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and merchandise presentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, financial integrity, and security procedures.
- Lead customer service initiatives and foster a clean, safe shopping environment.
- Follow company policies, complete documentation, and ensure team compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to interpret documents, perform basic math, and handle cash procedures.
- Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, and safety practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in recruiting, coaching, and legal compliance.
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving ability.
- Preference for bilingual Spanish speakers at some locations.
Experience & Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; management experience in retail is advantageous.

Working Conditions: Frequent standing, bending, lifting (up to 55 lbs), and occasional outside weather exposure in a fast-paced environment.
