Flowerama is looking for looking for hardworking, upbeat, dependable full-time Retail Manager. Our Florist and Gift store is seeking qualified applicants who have strong customer service and / or retail experience.
Essential Job Functions
- Be able to perform and train the essential job functions of retail sales associates and be knowledgeable enough to oversee the floral designer so store maintains profitability.
- Interview, hire, manage and terminate employees
- Complete and / or audit daily bookwork
- Report concerns and / or daily operations to regional leader or corporate
- Manage flower dumpage and analysis for profitability
- Order and manage fresh and non-perishable inventory
- Conduct employee meetings, performance evaluations, and holiday game plans
- Communicate effectively daily plans and requirements, and future plans and events
- Maintain good housekeeping practices, appropriate care information, professional signage, and correct pricing as it fluctuates with cost of goods
- Manage customer service and complaints effectively
- Anticipate upcoming needs and follow industry trends through educational resources
- Monitor delivery
- Monitor shrinkage
- Complete any other tasks as required by the regional leader or corporate
