Store Manager — Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts, Cherryvale, Kansas

Jobbers Automotive Warehouse, Inc. (JAW Inc.) is a Kansas-based automotive parts distributor operating 25 Bumper to Bumper stores across Kansas and Oklahoma. We're looking for a Store Manager in Cherryvale who knows parts, knows people, and wants to build a store that shops and installers count on.

What you'll do

• Lead the store team and own the store's sales, service, and profitability.
• Build relationships with local repair shops, fleets and installers — and win new ones.
• Hire, train and coach a team that lives our standard: Service in Every Mile.
• Keep inventory accurate, deliveries on time, and the store running to budget.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years in automotive parts sales, including supervisory experience.
• Strong parts knowledge and a track record with commercial accounts.
• Comfort with sales reports, budgets and basic P&L numbers.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Store management experience are a plus.

Qualifications and working conditions

Required

• 3+ years in automotive parts sales, with at least 1 year supervising people.
• Working knowledge of automotive systems and parts lookup (electronic catalog and paper).
• Proven ability to build and keep commercial accounts.
• Comfortable reading a P&L, sales reports and inventory reports.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Preferred

• Prior store manager or assistant manager experience in an aftermarket parts store.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and a parts store point-of-sale system.

Physical requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally (batteries, rotors, drums).
• Stand and walk for extended periods; climb ladders; bend and reach.
• Drive a company vehicle for deliveries and customer calls.

Working conditions

• Store environment with exposure to dust, fluids, batteries and seasonal outdoor temperatures.
• Schedule includes weekdays, Saturdays and some extended hours based on store needs.
• Occasional travel for manager meetings, vendor events and training.
