Store Manager

Role Overview: Responsible for managing store operations, staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient store processes including ordering, stocking, presentation, and customer service.

• Recruit, hire, train, and retain qualified employees while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Lead staff in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, and merchandising to meet sales and stock targets.
• Evaluate financial performance, control expenses, and monitor business trends through operating statements.
• Ensure store security, cash handling accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Communicate performance expectations, conduct meetings, and support staff development.
• Perform opening and closing duties regularly, and oversee proper merchandise staging and presentation.
• Maintain compliance with policies, complete documentation, and manage physical tasks such as lifting and stocking.

• High school diploma or equivalent; management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations, inventory, cash handling, and safety procedures.
• Ability to interpret documents, perform calculations, and solve problems.
• Effective interpersonal skills; bilingual ability may be preferred at some locations.
