Role Description

The Store Manager role at Tillys in Cedar Park, TX is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The Store Manager leads, trains, and motivates the store team, manages scheduling, and drives sales performance to meet and exceed targets. This role includes ensuring visual merchandising standards, monitoring inventory, and implementing retail loss prevention practices to protect company assets. The Store Manager also handles key holder responsibilities, resolves customer concerns, supports staff development, and upholds Tillys' brand standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Strong focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to build positive, long-term shopper relationships.


• Effective Communication skills to clearly guide team members, collaborate with leadership, and address customer needs.


• Proven Store Management experience, including supervising staff, managing schedules, and driving sales performance in a retail environment.


• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including monitoring shrink, enforcing policies, and promoting a culture of awareness and accountability.


• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.


• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.


• Comfort with basic retail technology and point-of-sale systems; familiarity with sales reporting is a plus.


• Previous experience in fashion or specialty retail is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required, further education in business or retail management is beneficial.
