Compensation Pay Range
$60,000.00 - $73,333.00
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses, or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Store Manager Responsibilities
- Maximize sales by directing team members to provide customers with prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Solicit orders, sell company products, and represent the company in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain customer base, increase sales volume at assigned accounts, review customer needs to gain market share, and solicit stocking‑type business as well as daily needs and equipment sales.
- Communicate with and coordinate sales call efforts with the Territory Sales Manager.
- Supervise all store team members and collaborate with the District Manager on recruiting, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and discharging team members.
- Develop and post work schedules for each pay period based on sales and payroll forecasting.
- Review team member timecards for accuracy and correct missed punches daily.
- Ensure team members improve skills through company training on policies, procedures, customer service, computer operations, catalogs, sales, and safety.
- Work with the Sales and Pricing Departments to establish pricing levels for professional customers.
- Maximize gross profit on outside purchases and monitor price overrides to ensure policy compliance and profitability.
- Implement planogram changes and merchandising plans as outlined.
- Provide the Inventory Control Department with accurate and timely stock adjustment recaps.
- Handle daily store accounting functions, including sales reports, bank deposits, cash drawers, and processing checks.
- Manage charge accounts, address past‑due situations, and communicate regularly with the Territory Sales Manager and credit department.
- Implement loss‑prevention procedures for billing, cash refunds, credit, stock transfers, warranties, key control, and shoplifting prevention.
- Ensure store vehicles are clean, well‑maintained, and inspected properly.
- Report property/building needs using MARS or to the District Manager.
- Attend the Annual Managers' Conference.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, Manager Development Program module.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems.
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
- Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE certification.
