Store Manager Candidate

Role Overview

The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting with employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and store needs. This role focuses on developing external candidates for future store management positions.

Responsibilities Include

• Assisting in recruiting, staffing, and training employees
• Participating in merchandising, stocking, and store presentation
• Managing inventory, including damages, markdowns, and stock levels
• Ensuring customer service excellence and store safety
• Supporting financial procedures, cash handling, and security controls
• Conducting store opening and closing activities
• Monitoring sales, expenses, and inventory trends
• Completing necessary documentation accurately and timely

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong reading, math, and communication skills
• Knowledge of cash handling, inventory practices, and store security
• Ability to learn POS systems and report generation
• Effective organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual abilities may be preferred

Experience & Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience is advantageous

Physical & Working Conditions
