Store Manager

We are partnering with an established organization seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a retail location in the Belleville, Illinois area.

This is a hands‑on leadership position for someone who enjoys running the entire operation—developing a team, driving sales, managing inventory, delivering a great customer experience, and ensuring the location performs at a high level.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach and develop a team of approximately 6–7 employees across sales, administration and service
• Take ownership of the overall performance and day-to-day operation of the location
• Drive revenue growth through strong sales execution and customer service
• Coach sales employees on product knowledge, customer relationships, closing business and achieving goals
• Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans
• Monitor sales results, trends and performance against monthly targets
• Oversee inventory levels, ordering, replenishment and inventory accuracy
• Ensure products and inventory are properly received, documented and maintained
• Help grow parts and service revenue in addition to retail product sales
• Establish annual budgets and monthly performance targetsMaintain an organized, customer-focused retail environment
• Work closely with regional leadership and other departments to support business objectives
• Build a strong team culture with clear expectations, accountability and ongoing development

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has previous retail management experience and has been responsible for both the sales and operational sides of a location.

Experience in environments such as automotive/auto parts, hardware, heavy equipment, truck/trailer, equipment dealerships, industrial products or other durable‑goods retail would translate particularly well.

Candidates should also bring experience with sales leadership, coaching and developing employees, inventory management, analyzing sales performance, implementing sales plans and managing overall store operations.

An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.

Schedule & Compensation

Bonus: Additional incentive compensation based on sales performance

Store Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
