Responsibilities
- Identify issues and create strategies to remain competitive with the local retail market.
- Problem solve in a fast‑paced environment, exercising good judgment regarding the company’s objectives to determine solutions.
- Monitor and communicate competitive strategies through first‑hand market observations.
- Ensure all merchandise is well presented on the floor following visual, marketing and operational directives and standards, mindful of FOB adjacencies, and is signed according to standards.
- Partner with Corporate and RVP to ensure merchandise assortment represents the customer in the market.
- Recruit, interview and select candidates with requisite skills, and manage retention and turnover.
Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of store management experience with a proven track record of successfully managing a selling workforce and achieving results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong merchandising skills.
