Managing the design and layout of retail stores, the full-time remote Store Designer will create preliminary floor plans, ensure compliance with design standards and building codes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational needs. Key responsibilities Review site surveys and develop store layouts that optimize space usage while adhering to company design guidelines Present and incorporate feedback on floor plans from internal teams, ensuring all operational needs are met Develop and produce architectural construction documents, coordinating with engineers and city officials throughout the project Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in chain retail store design and/or CAD design Proficiency in architectural design programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup Working knowledge of governing construction codes and accessibility design guidelines (ADA, ANSI, Title 24, etc.) Ability to create and interpret construction documents and architectural drawings
