Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Storage Engineer to support a large-scale SAN refresh across multiple data centers. The main technologies are Dell PowerMax, HPE 3PAR, NetApp, and Brocade Fibre Channel switches .
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain enterprise SAN and storage environments
- Configure and manage Dell PowerMax and HPE 3PAR
- Perform LUN provisioning, host mapping, masking, and multipathing
- Manage Brocade Fibre Channel switches , including zoning and fabric connectivity
- Troubleshoot storage, SAN, and connectivity issues
- Validate storage connectivity after deployments and changes
- Monitor storage and SAN health
- Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks
- Work with infrastructure teams on data center projects
- Provide both onsite and remote support
Required Skills
- 3+ years of SAN/Storage Engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise storage
- Experience with Dell PowerMax, HPE 3PAR, or similar
- Strong Brocade FC switching experience
- Experience with FC zoning, fabric management, and ISLs
- Knowledge of LUN masking, host groups, and multipathing
- Experience with MPIO or PowerPath
- Ability to work onsite in the Kansas City metro area
Preferred Skills
- NetApp / ONTAP
- Storage or Fibre Channel certifications
- Large-scale, multi-data-center experience
- Storage monitoring/management tools
- PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
