To support a federal civilian customer, the remote Storage Backup Engineer will design, implement, and manage enterprise storage and data protection solutions, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience with SAN/NAS platforms and enterprise backup software. Key responsibilities Administer enterprise SAN and NAS storage platforms, including provisioning and performance tuning Design and maintain enterprise backup architecture using tools like Veeam or Commvault across on-premises and cloud targets Support the implementation of the business disaster continuity and recovery (BDCR) solution, including replication and recovery testing Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience Minimum of 5 years of experience administering enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) and backup systems Hands-on experience with enterprise backup platforms (Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, or similar) Experience with cloud storage and backup targets (AWS S3/EBS/FSx or equivalent) Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
