Design, architect, configure, deploy, upgrade, and support various storage and backup platforms and associated management tools.
- Provides technical leadership and is responsible for the development of new storage infrastructure and Information Lifecycle Management designs, including requirements and analysis.
- Shares ownership of the operational responsibility for storage provisioning and availability at government customer site with the Customer/Government Storage Manager.
- Keep abreast of current developments in storage and backup technology to assist Federal staff in assessing the future direction of storage and backup technology.
- Responsible for the delivery of the technical architectural design, strategies and plans that will be delivered on an ongoing basis.
- Performs end-to-end analysis on the performance of the storage infrastructure, presents findings, and submits recommendations for improvement.
