Stockers are responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing merchandise to ensure store shelves and stockrooms are neat, well-stocked, and conducive to a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and sort merchandise according to established receiving procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and update facility records.
- Stock shelves and maintain organized backroom and storage areas.
- Prepare, handle, package, label, and store food items in compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
- Operate and sanitize food-related equipment in accordance with company standards.
- Set up displays and organize merchandise for optimal presentation.
- Comply with company policies, safety procedures, and ethical standards.
- Complete work assignments and priorities in a timely and efficient manner.
