Ability to assume the responsibilities of the Operations Associate Manager in his/her absence. The Operations Manager is also responsible for achieving sales objectives, maintaining and achieving high operational and merchandising standards and goals, building highly motivated teams and developing associates to the next level.Inventory/ Loss PreventionCollaborate with Store Manager in areas of risk management, physical security, and store cash controlsSupport and assist in staff training in all areas of appropriate register usage and maintenanceUnderstand and properly execute all management register functionsComprehend and implement cash control procedures including: bank deposits, safe funds, petty cashDetermine the type of negative on hand balance to ensure that your actions will correct the negative balanceExecute the shipping and receiving of audits in a timely mannerPerform cycle counts on a consistent basisLead the team in LP/POS auditsStrategically plan out HB flow/ markdown implementationUpdate key log/alarm codes storewideManage monthly security log, change orders and armored car servicePeople DevelopmentRecruit staff in a timely mannerEvaluate staff's performance and provide feedbackTrain and develop staffNew Hires/ Payroll AdministrationConduct all new hire processingReview and edit all payroll punches and reconciliationStore MaintenanceUphold back and front house of organization and cleanlinessMaintain and order store suppliesEnsure light bulbs are changed and directed on merchandiseService ChannelMaintenance posting and follow upWeekly deliverablesWeekly photosQualificationsMinimum 2-3 years retail/ operations management experienceCollege degree or equivalent experience a plusStrong business acumen and skill-setStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/VetThe Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
