Sterile Processing Tech
The Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment. The position requires knowledge and skills in aseptic techniques and high-level disinfection. Experience with neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, orthopedic, transplant, and gynecology procedures is preferred. The individual will ensure that all instruments are properly sterilized and ready for surgical use. Collaboration with surgical teams to meet departmental needs is essential. The role may require floating to different departments as needed. The candidate must provide all required time off requests at the time of application. Travelers should be aware of the potential for emergency response duties during hurricane seasons. Compliance with all pre-start requirements is expected.
