Sterile Processing TechThe Sterile Processing Tech will be responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment. Candidates will work a rotating weekend schedule. The average surgical case volume is 65, with a daily tray volume of 1200. This role requires self-motivation and strong teamwork skills. Candidates will have experience in neuro, orthopedic, robotics, and pediatric services. Strong candidates demonstrate quality and attention to detail.
All agency technicians will be part of a teaching department environment. Proper labeling and organization of trays are essential. Knowledge of aseptic technique and sterilization processes is required. Preferred experience includes working in an acute hospital setting. Documentation will occur within an instrumentation management system, with a training module provided. All travelers are expected to float within the hospital as needed.
