Sterile Processing ManagerPrimarily leads, directs, and coaches the CS/SPD teams to the highest standard of performance in cleaning, sterilization, inventory management, distribution of supplies and safety standards.What you will do in the role:Demonstrates working to achieve goals set in previous evaluation.Demonstrates professional behavior and conduct at all times. Maintains good working relationships with other team members and other hospital departmentsShows competent functional, technical knowledge and skills to effectively perform decontaminationShows competent functional, technical knowledge and skills to effectively perform Instruments prep.Shows competent functional, technical knowledge and skills to effectively perform all forms of SterilizationAdheres to standards of practice, policy and procedure to ensure patient safetyDemonstrates an awareness of cost containment and endeavors to conserve where possibleCo-ordinates instrument needs departmentally or from outside vendors. Supervise staff schedules and activities.
