Our Opportunity
We are seeking a Statistical Scientist for our Data Sciences Practice based in Bellevue, WA . The role focuses on data collection, management, visualization, and inferential analysis for diverse projects.
Responsibilities
- Participate in exploratory data analysis, statistical inference, and predictive modeling projects.
- Apply risk analysis to problems in engineering, health, finance, ecology, and the environment.
- Support internal and external clients in planning data collection: framing problems, experimental design, sample size calculations, and sampling strategies.
- Develop reports and visualizations to address clients’ scientific and engineering problems and support litigation.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills to explain statistical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience in statistical data mining, reliability and life data analysis, experimental design, Bayesian statistics, machine learning, or quality control/improvement.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with statistical software packages such as SAS and R.
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
- Programming skills (C++, SQL, Visual Basic, Python) and dashboard or software development experience are strongly preferred.
- Currently legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship required.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: USD $133,000.00 – USD $150,000.00 per year. Total compensation includes base salary, bi‑weekly bonuses for high‑intensity efforts, an annual bonus, and a 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary.
