Statewide Electronic Health Records (EHR) System AnalystTalantage is currently seeking a full-time Statewide Electronic Health Records (EHR) System Analyst to support our Maryland client team. This role is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing EHR/EPHR systems while partnering closely with clinical and operational stakeholders across multiple sites. The EHR System Analyst develops workflows based on observations, interviews, and analysis of clinical and operational processes.
This position supports system upgrades and enhancements, provides onsite and remote troubleshooting, and delivers end-user training. The analyst plays a key role in optimizing clinical technology utilization and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and document workflows based on data, observation, and stakeholder interviewsSupport EHR/EPHR system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiativesTravel to client sites as needed to troubleshoot issues and provide training and supportLead efforts to improve staff utilization of clinical technology and EHR systemsIdentify opportunities for clinical and operational process improvementsCollaborate with clinical and operational leadership to analyze data and develop reportsEnsure system use and reporting comply with national regulations and contract requirementsProvide end-user training and ongoing support to clinical staffServe as a subject matter expert (SME) for EHR-related workflows and functionalityQualificationsBachelor's degree preferredPrior experience supporting or implementing projects strongly preferredMinimum of two (2) years of experience as a subject matter expert, power user, or administrator of electronic medical records or healthcare-related systemsMinimum of two (2) years of experience working in a clinical environmentMinimum of two (2) years of experience working directly with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff on EHR needsMinimum of two (2) years of experience providing end-user training and technical supportDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues and identify work-around solutionsExperience working with contracted service providers and vendorsKnowledge of correctional and/or general healthcare standards, including HIPAA, NCCHC, HL7, and ICD-10 (preferred)Ability to obtain required security clearance, including drug screening and criminal background checkTalantage offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including health insurance options, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
