As the primary liaison for state Department of Education stakeholders, the full-time State Relations Manager will design and execute strategic plans to enhance organizational visibility, while collaborating with internal teams and managing relationships to support education initiatives in a fully remote capacity. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with business units to develop strategic plans and approaches for state solutions Leverage and cultivate relationships with key state education officials to secure meetings and presentations Consult with state education leaders on initiatives and assist in pursuing state-level contracts Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree in Education or Policy preferred Minimum 4+ years of experience in a senior leadership role with a state Department of Education Knowledge and expertise in education policy and state government operations Established networks with state Department of Education decision-makers preferred Experience managing initiatives connected to state policy and funding preferred
