State Office Program Manager (Construction) #5540

The Senate Sergeant at Arms is seeking a Construction Manager (CM) for State Office Operations.

From our offices in Washington, DC, the incumbent will oversee construction projects/contractors across the country at individual commercial and GSA/federal office suites leased by the Senate. Work is related to openings, reconfiguration, and renovations done to prepare offices for installation of Senate infrastructure and physical security systems. Project teams include internal stakeholders, federal partners, building managers, architects, construction contractors, and security technicians. The CM will design spaces including physical security, write statements of work, perform cost analysis/estimating, acquire contractors, negotiate prices, and oversee contractor work, as well as troubleshoot manual or electronic door/hardware and other construction-related issues.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a broad range of construction trades and methods.
