To support tax compliance and reporting, the remote Sr. State Licensed Tax Specialist will prepare and file routine non-income tax returns, manage tax data reconciliation, and assist with tax research and audits. Key responsibilities Prepare and file sales/use tax and property tax returns accurately and on time Reconcile tax data against general ledger accounts and maintain organized, audit-ready documentation Research taxability questions and monitor changes in tax regulations for assigned jurisdictions Required qualifications 1 - 5 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline preferred Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel Understanding of accounting principles and analytical skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
