To support a growing State & Local Tax (SALT) practice, the full-time remote State Licensed Tax Director will manage income tax and indirect tax consulting engagements, mentor staff, and provide technical guidance on multi-state tax matters for a diverse client base. Key responsibilities Manage and deliver income tax and indirect tax consulting and compliance engagements for various clients and industries Conduct nexus studies, taxability analyses, and exposure reviews while advising clients on multi-state tax issues Lead and mentor staff, providing coaching and technical development while building strong client relationships Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred) CPA, JD, or MST preferred 9+ years of experience in public accounting or industry, focusing on state and local tax issues Strong knowledge of multi-state tax regulations and compliance Proven experience managing engagements and supervising staff
