Managing a specialized caseload of commercial property claims, the temporary remote Senior Claims Adjuster will handle approximately 40 existing claims for licensed cannabis operations, acting as the primary liaison between third-party administrators and carrier clients while ensuring compliance and thorough documentation. Key responsibilities Manage the end-to-end process of commercial property claims from an existing caseload Act as the primary contact between the TPA and carrier clients, ensuring all reporting and documentation requirements are met Investigate various types of losses, analyze coverage issues, and negotiate claim settlements Required qualifications 5+ years of experience handling complex commercial property claims, preferably in the restaurant, bar, or tavern industry Active adjuster license in the candidate's state of residence Strong knowledge of commercial property coverage interpretation and settlement processes Experience managing business income and extra expense claims Familiarity with insurance claims software and estimating platforms such as Xactimate
