Supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the part-time State Licensed Optometrist will conduct psychological exams and complete disability benefits questionnaires (DBQs) remotely, with a minimum commitment of one day per week. Key responsibilities Conduct psychological exams for Veterans and transitioning service members Complete disability benefits questionnaires (DBQs) to assist in processing disability claims Provide high-quality and timely reports in a respectful environment Required qualifications Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in Optometry Active, unrestricted state medical license Completion of approximately 16 hours of VA training Certification valid for 5 years following training completion
