Providing compassionate support and medication coordination, the full-time State Licensed Medical Assistant will manage medication-assisted treatment workflows, coordinate prior authorizations, and ensure seamless care navigation for individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Manage medication-assisted treatment (MAT) workflows, including medication refills and adherence support Coordinate prior authorization workflows for prescribed medications, ensuring timely resolution Communicate with members, providers, and pharmacies to facilitate access to medications and enhance the care experience Required qualifications Active Medical Assistant (MA) certification or equivalent experience as required by state regulations Experience with prior authorizations, medication coordination, or clinical operations Familiarity with substance use disorder (SUD) or addiction medicine, or a strong interest in these areas Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
