To support a growing virtual care team, the PRN/Per Diem State Licensed Medical Assistant will coordinate care, provide patient education, and assist with technology navigation for patients with various acute and chronic conditions in a remote setting, with availability required between 10am-7pm EST. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate care and conduct patient intake for low-acuity, non-emergent medical conditions through virtual consultations Collaborate with healthcare professionals to manage referrals and ensure continuity of care for patients Maintain accurate electronic medical records and provide empathetic, patient-centered support while addressing individual needs Required Qualifications: Completed an accredited medical assistant, nursing assistant program, or hold an LPN with compact license Current national certification in medical assisting from an organization such as AAMA or NHA Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in primary care or urgent care Strong proficiency in telemedicine and virtual care technologies, along with experience in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and holidays, as needed
