Supervising the Coding & Clinical Review team in a full-time remote capacity, the State Licensed Coding Supervisor will ensure accurate diagnosis-related group assignments and clinical validations while driving team performance and operational efficiency in alignment with organizational objectives. Key responsibilities Supervise daily work activities of Coding & Clinical Review staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits and operational workflows Monitor team performance against productivity and quality expectations, addressing any gaps as necessary Provide guidance on coding, clinical validation, and audit determinations in accordance with regulatory policies and guidelines Required qualifications Associate's Degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related field 6+ years of experience performing MS-DRG and APR-DRG coding 3+ years of experience conducting DRG reviews for a Payment Integrity vendor or payer 3+ years of experience with DRG encoder/grouper systems RHIT, CCS, CIC, or CCDS certification required; RN licensure preferred
