Analyzing inpatient rehab medical records, the full-time State Licensed Coding Specialist will code charts, review IRF-PAI documentation, and determine appropriate ICD-10 codes while working remotely. Key responsibilities Analyze inpatient rehab medical records and operative reports to accurately code charts Review IRF-PAI documentation and assign appropriate ICD-10 codes while understanding CMS reimbursement calculations Collaborate with inpatient coders and managers to meet high quality and productivity standards Required qualifications Active AHIMA or AAPC coding credentials Minimum of 2-3 years of Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) coding experience 3 years of ICD-10 PCS coding experience Access to high-speed internet and a workstation Epic experience is a plus
