Leading a team in a remote environment, the full-time State Licensed Chief Security Architect will provide senior-level technical leadership and architectural direction for enterprise cybersecurity architecture and engineering activities supporting the VA COSE program. Key responsibilities Provide architectural direction and serve as a principal security architecture and engineering subject matter expert Translate customer and regulatory requirements into enterprise security architectures and technical strategies Conduct security architecture reviews and oversee risk analyses to ensure compliance with VA and Federal policies Required qualifications Minimum of 15 years of experience in Enterprise Security Architecture within large organizations or Government agencies Advanced degree in an IT-related field may substitute for up to 5 years of required experience Expertise in security architecture, project management, and risk management Proficiency in using Enterprise Architecture tools and frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP Experience in developing and modernizing health IT digital architectures, including cloud and AI technologies
