To support the Social Services and Behavioral Health Department, the part-time State Licensed Behavioral Health Director will provide medical leadership, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and develop treatment plans for patients, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities Provides leadership and direction for the growth of the Behavioral Health program, establishing standards of care Collaborates with clinical teams to manage patient health and wellbeing, offering consultation and educational support Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans, including prescribing psychotropic medications and utilizing psychotherapeutic methods Required qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with Board Certification in Psychiatry Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Psychiatry residency training program Current and valid state medical license Minimum of 5 years of experience in psychiatry Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
