To support a federal training and curriculum modernization program, the full-time remote State Certified Corrections SME will design, update, and evaluate specialized corrections curricula while providing expertise on current correctional practices and collaborating with instructional designers and government experts. Key responsibilities Design, update, and evaluate specialized corrections curricula and training materials Provide authoritative expertise on correctional practices, policies, and facility operations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training content aligns with applicable regulations and standards Required qualifications Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, Emergency Management, or a closely related field Completion of state- or agency-certified corrections academy training Seven or more years of relevant corrections experience with recent hands-on experience Demonstrated experience in developing corrections-related subject matter content Deep familiarity with current correctional facility operations, including safety and security operations
