This Standards Engineer position is part of the Indiana Department of Transportation's Standards and Policy Division. Key qualifications:
- Professional Engineer license in Indiana required (exceptions for EIT/FE candidates actively pursuing PE)
- Expert proficiency in Word, Excel, Acrobat, SharePoint, and MicroStation
- High-level knowledge of survey, utilities, hydraulics, geotechnical, structural, roadway, traffic, safety, pavement, real estate, and environmental practices
- Intermediate skills in ProjectWise, OpenRoads Designer, AutoTURN, ArcGIS, PowerPoint, and WinSCP
- Valid driver's license
- Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills with ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines
