Vehicle Test EngineerALSO is looking for a Vehicle Test Engineer to play a key role in defining and supporting reliability, durability, and feature testing.What You'll DoDefine, create, and drive execution of overall vehicle durability/environmental test targets, working cross-functionally with systems and sub-systems engineering teamsSupport test planning and execution for fleet-based validation activities to drive edge case extraction, localized product use testing, and data ingestionSupport the definition and realization of KPIs to drive product use metricsSupport vehicle integration and measurement equipment setup, configuration, and operationDrive vehicle-level testing for software features, performance, functionality, and stabilityDrive traceability and directly support defect triage and managementSupport planning and execution of vehicle tests to identify and align on homologation topicsWhat You'll BringBS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field5+ years of professional experience in systems test engineering, vehicle testing, or vehicle durability testingExperience with instrumentation and data collection, e.g., accelerometers, strain gauges, force transducers, fleet ops, data logging equipment, and signal conditioningCore understanding of systems engineering processes and methodsExperience testing vibration, shock, thermal cycling, high temperature and humidity, and corrosionExperience with homologation and durability testingFamiliarity with requirements management tools such as JAMA, and planning and organization tools such as JIRA/ConfluenceWorking knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, SPI) and Vector toolsComfortable riding two-wheeled vehicles of various speeds and power levelsThe salary for this position ranges from $190,000 - $225,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.This is an onsite position requiring attendance in the office 5 days per week.
