We are seeking a Senior-level Staff Software Engineer with deep expertise in high-performance, real-time computer graphics for medical device systems. This role focuses on developing advanced 3D visualization software used in cardiac mapping systems within electrophysiology (EP) labs.
The ideal candidate is a strong C++ engineer with extensive OpenGL experience, capable of building low-latency, real-time systems in a regulated, process-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance real-time 3D visualization software
- Design, code, test, and document software for regulated medical device systems
- Work on cardiac mapping systems used in EP labs
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and low-latency rendering
- Collaborate closely with Principal and Senior Principal Engineers
- Participate in detailed software design discussions and complex problem-solving
- Adhere to quality, compliance, and documentation standards required for regulated environments
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant industry experience
- Typical for role: 8–10+ years (Staff Engineer level)
- Candidates with significantly less experience are unlikely to be considered
- Strong C++ skills with solid object‑oriented design experience
- Deep expertise in OpenGL for high‑performance, real‑time rendering
- Hands‑on experience with Qt / QML frameworks
- Ability to work effectively in a regulated, process‑driven environment

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (required)
