A Boston based deep-tech startup building AI-driven infrastructure to modernize how low-level software is created, analyzed, and deployed are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join their team. Backed by leading investors and operating at Series A scale, the team combines AI research with serious systems and compiler expertise.
What will I be doing:
- Design and build AI-driven pipelines for large-scale code translation and analysis
- Own core backend architecture for agent-style, multi-step AI systems
- Turn research ideas into production-grade platforms
- Build scalable services that process and reason over code at scale
- Make key technical decisions across distributed and cloud-based systems
What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years building production software (strong Python focus)
- Proven system design skills and experience owning complex backend services
- Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous problem spaces
- Experience shipping scalable APIs and backend platforms
- Experience with AI/ML or agent-based systems would be beneficial
