Staff Software Engineer - Performance Engineering - REMOTE

The Staff, Software Engineer plays a critical role in delivering scalable platform capabilities and driving the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment. This position leads infrastructure and tooling initiatives to enhance engineering productivity and supports AI/ML integration for intelligent automation. The role requires strong technical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration across teams to ensure high quality, maintainable solutions aligned with business objectives. The engineer applies data-driven practices to optimize processes and continuously improve software quality while adapting to evolving technologies and organizational priorities.

The team designs and delivers advanced software solutions that enhance the associate experience while maintaining high standards of integrity. It focuses on full stack technologies, collaborating closely with product managers and technical architects to implement the latest technologies and automations. The team values technical leadership and mentorship, guiding members through requirements gathering, design, development, and deployment. Emphasizing cloud-native architecture, API design, and data-driven decision making, the team continuously advances scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions.

Lead End-to-End Engineering

: Drive the design, development, deployment, and operation of scalable, resilient, cloud-native solutions, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Champion Engineering Excellence

: Promote best practices in software quality, automation, observability, and continuous improvement to accelerate delivery and operational efficiency.
Provide Technical Leadership

: Mentor engineers, foster knowledge sharing, and elevate engineering capabilities through technical guidance and collaboration.
Accelerate AI-Driven Engineering:

Leverage AI, LLMs, and intelligent automation to streamline development workflows, enhance system diagnostics, reduce operational toil, and improve mean time to recovery.
Advance AI-Native Practices

: Champion the adoption of AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve developer productivity, accelerate innovation, and drive measurable business impact.
Full-Stack Engineering

: Strong expertise in React, JavaScript, Java, Node.js, microservices, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
Cloud & DevOps

: Experience building scalable, cloud-native solutions with CI/CD, automation, and modern DevOps practices.
AI & LLM Integration

: Hands-on experience with production LLM applications, AI guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and intelligent automation.
Agentic AI & Protocols

: Experience with AI agents, multi-step reasoning, MCP, A2A, and multi-agent orchestration.
Nice to Have

: Experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise communication platforms.
