This role comes with a lot of ownership and visibility, as you'd be the founding Android engineer on the team and shape how we build the product, define architecture, and work closely with teams across the company to bring new ideas to life. You should be product- and user-oriented, and comfortable with autonomy and ambiguity.This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three times per week. This role is based out of our New York, NY office.In this role, you will:Lead the architecture design and implementation of consumer-facing features in the Tinder appBuild compelling new in-app experiences that will reach tens of millions of users globallyCoordinate with product and design teams and influence the roadmap and product development of the Tinder app and servicesCreate and maintain internal shared frameworks and librariesMentor, collaborate, and learn with innovative and passionate team membersYou'll need:8+ years of professional experience developing native iOS applicationsExtensive experience building applications using SwiftStrong software design skills, including a deep understanding of design patterns (e.g., Clean / MVVM / VIPER, and the benefits of each) and dependency injectionUnderstanding of design guidelines (i.e. you know how to be a good iOS citizen while maintaining a strong unique brand identity)Clear communication style within a collaborative team environmentThe ability to combine good judgment, empathy, and technical skills$220,000 - $230,000 a year The salary range for this position is $220,000 - 230,000.

This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York.
